About Stephen Lee
Stephen has a wealth of broadcasting experience in leading newsrooms both in the UK and Australia, including the BBC, ITV, GMTV, Sky News and Network Ten. He is currently the Supervising Producer leading the team behind Ten’s Morning News, a hour’s mix of national and international news broadcast daily across Australia.
For ten years, Stephen was a popular face of ITV News presenting daily news programmes and bulletins from the studios and out on location. He has covered stories as diverse as the Suffolk serial murders and the Sydney dust storm, represented ITV at a Prime Ministerial reception in Downing Street, and taken part in an ice skating challenge series on ITV. His radio career at the BBC includes presenting both news and music programmes.
Stephen has pioneered of online news and digital programme delivery and continues to champion social media and viewer interactivity. He’s been involved in media training, award ceremonies and event hosting. His voiceover work includes being selected as a voice of the BT national telephone network in the UK.
